Acer baru saja meluncurkan empat varian laptop terbaru yaitu Acer Aspire 4740, Aspire 4740G, Aspire 5740G dan Aspire 5942G. Keempat varian terbaru dari Acer ini sudah menggunakan Prosesor Intel terbaru, yaitu Intel Core i3, i5 dan i7. Prosesor Intel seri terbaru ini diklaim mampu memberikan performa yang baik, lebih cepat dalam memproses dan lebih hemat daya.
Acer Aspire 4740 menggunakan prosesor Intel Core i3, Acer Aspire 4740G dan 5740G menggunakan prosesor Intel Core i5, sedangkan Acer Aspire 5942G menggunakan prosesor Intel Core i7.
Semuanya juga sudah dilengkapi dengan memory DDR3, kapasitas harddisk yang cukup besar, wireless, DVDRW. Seri 4740 menggunakan chip graphic terintegrasi, sedangkan seri 4740G, 5740G dan 5942G menggunakan chip graphic yang terpisah, sehingga memiliki kemampuan grafis yang lebih baik.
